Suat Sancar is a very successful, professional Turkish music singer, oud player, choir master, compositor, and song writer.He was born in Adana in Turkey. Since he was a little boy, his interest in music had begun and his talent was recognized by his music teachers and by the Music Association of Adana, where he attended for several years during his studies at primary, secondary and high schools. After graduating from High School he passed the exams of Aegean University’s Turkish Classic Music Academy with first degree among all the attendants, Suat then pursued his education in music by studying at the university. In 1993 he established the Choir of Aegean University’s Medical Studies and operated and mastered the choir for three years.
In 1996 he composed “ELVEDA”, a poem written by, Zeki Muren, the Diva of Turkish Classical Music of all times. The song ELVEDA, brought the artist success and recognition in the Turkish media which includes famous TV shows, news programs v.s and then was awarded the Golden Plate of success in Music. In 1998, he was proposed to be the chairman and master of the Beykoz Turkish Classical Music Choir and continued to master it for two years. He migrated to the UK in 2004 and founded the London Turkish Classical Music Choir in 2005, Suat gave a concert in the British Museum and has had musical projects and worked with well known British Jazz Artists. He is a successful artist who has approximately 50 compositions & 100 poems. He has written a biography book which continued his success and recognition .The Turkish Music Authorities have rewarded him for his success and commitment to music.
